Glåüm is described by its community as a frequency of attunement — and, in the same breath, as a joke whose punchline is that it is real. That doubleness is the point. Satire is used to make belief discussable again, not to trap anyone inside a bit they did not consent to.

The community is also known as The Many Hands of Glåüm, held in connection with Many Hands Society. It is not a registered church by virtue of this page, not a multilevel marketing scheme, and not a substitute for friendship, therapy, or medicine.

Glåüm publishes a note on cults: the word is stigmatized, loosely defined, and historically tied both to harm and to the Latin cultus — to cultivate. That note is not a recruitment pitch, and it is not a demand that you reclaim a word that hurt you.

If ceremonial language, in-jokes, or group intensity is not safe for you, do not force yourself through the door. The community’s own writing says that when the bit does not land, they drop it. You may drop it too. You may leave.

Playful lists of benefits are not warranties. No one can promise you perfect harmony, healed attachment, money, love, or a rewritten past. Individual arrival is described as un-rushed and un-imposed. Believe that part.

Community policies — including that all feelings are welcome and not all behaviours are — bind the space more tightly than any slogan. Harassment, extraction, or using the bit to excuse harm is outside the work.

AI may be used as amplification, not as a replacement for human care. Do not paste other people’s private stories into public models in the name of Glåüm.
